The Trump administration is carving out big tariff exemptions for the tech industry.

A long list of electronic products got a reprieve for now from at least some of the levies on China, which had been expected to take a toll on tech giants like Apple.

President Trump exempted the Apple iPhone from most tariffs, along with PCs, servers and a slew of other tech gear from Nvidia and others.
