Digital sales are climbing steadily at Nordstrom, and displaying a consistent upward trajectory. During the company's second-quarter earnings call Tuesday (Aug. 27), CEO Erik Nordstrom said digital sales increased 6.2%, accounting for 37% of total sales and the fifth consecutive quarter of improvement.

Nordstrom reported an increase in second-quarter sales on Tuesday, buoyed by its crucial Anniversary Sale event, even as consumers remain cautious amid inflationary pressures.
