Italian oil and gas contractor Saipem on Monday revised down its expectations for 2026 ​core earnings to take into account extra costs ‌linked to the Middle East crisis.

The ​general superintendence of Brazil's antitrust watchdog ‌CADE approved the proposed merger between energy contractors Subsea7 and Saipem without restrictions, a document ​seen by Reuters showed on Tuesday.
