Standard Lithium (SLI -3.02%) was the subject of investor interest on Thursday, thanks in no small part to an important operational update. Although the stock traded nearly 7% higher at one point during the trading session, it ultimately deflated to a nearly 3% loss on the news.
The Arkansas Oil and Gas Commission made a critical royalty ruling in favor of Standard Lithium. This ruling paves the way for lithium development in Arkansas and opens Standard up to potential additional Federal funding.
