INDUS Holding AG engages in the equity investment among medium-sized manufacturing companies as well as corporate development. It operates through the following segments: Construction and Infrastructure, Automotive Technology, Engineering, Medical Engineering and Life Science, and Metals Technology. The Construction and Infrastructure segment consists of reinforcement of reinforced concrete, construction materials, network and cable laying, air conditioning and heating technology, and accessories for private housing construction. The Automotive Technology segment refers to the model or prototype construction for the automotive industry, pre-series and small series production, series production of components for large automotive manufacturers, testing and measurement solutions, and solutions for specialized vehicles. The Engineering segment includes conveyor systems, robotic gripping systems, valve technology, automation components for vehicle assembly, inert gas system equipment, and electric heat tracing system. The Medical Engineering and Life Science segment comprises of orthotic devices, surgical stocking, optical lenses and full optical devices, surgical accessories rehabilitation technology, and hygienic products for medical applications and household use. The Metal Technology segment supplies rail technology, carbide tools for road construction and mining, manufacture of housings for laboratory technology, blasting agents for the steel industry, and bolt welding technology for structural connecting elements used in bridge construction. The company was founded on 1989 and is headquartered in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany.
