IonQ shares (NYSE: IONQ) rose 4.1% to $42.42 on Wednesday morning as investors weighed the company's planned deployment of its Superion 256 system at NVIDIA's Accelerated Quantum Research Center. The system will connect IonQ's full-stack quantum system directly to NVIDIA's AI infrastructure, linking the Superion 256 with an NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 system through the company's NVQLink technology.

IonQ stock popped after the company announced an advance in quantum computing during one of the industry's largest conferences.
